In 1985, Chris and Jeanie attended Word of Life Bible Institute. During that year, God brought them together and gave them the desire to serve Him in children's ministry. Jeanie went on to attend the School of Youth Ministries. After graduation, they began directing the children's church program in their local church. In 1988, they were married. Chris attended Tri-State University and received a Business degree.

In 1994, God directed Chris and Jeanie to begin a separate children's ministry using a variety of talents that God had given them. Through many opportunities, God has enabled them to reach hundreds of boys and girls with the Gospel.

Word of Life has always held a special place in their hearts. In January of 2000, they felt that God was calling them into full-time ministry. After much prayer, they knew the Lord was leading them to Word of Life Clubs. Today, they are serving in Indiana with WOL Olympian Clubs.

Chris and Jeanie's desire is to assist local churches in reaching and discipling young people for Jesus Christ. The couple is not new to most of the folks here at FBC, and for the past few summers have faithfully served with us during our Vacation Bible Schools. 

Chris and Jeanie have been blessed with a son.  Nathan is five years old.
