First Baptist Church in Van Wert Ohio

Dr. Anderson was reared in a pastor’s home in Iowa.  Through the influence of this home, he was directed to Christ at age five.  During a Missions Conference in his church, he surrendered his life to full-time Christian service as a 5th grader.

Upon graduation from high school, Dr. Anderson enrolled at Appalachian Bible College to prepare for the ministry.  It was during this time that he met his wife, Rosalie.  God has since blessed them with five children and three grandchildren.

After graduating with their diplomas from ABC, Dan and Rosalie pursued additional education.  Rosalie completed her BA in Music Education and has taken graduate studies in music at Southern Methodist University and a M.A. in music education at Marshall University.  Dan completed his BA in Bible and Theology at Faith Baptist Bible College before enrolling at Grace Theological Seminary where he received his Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Studies.  He then completed his Masters of Sacred Theology and his Doctorate of Theology in Historical Theology at Dallas Theological Seminary.

Throughout their years of education, Dan and Rosalie have served in various ministry capacities, including pastoring at Grace Bible Church in Elkhart, Indiana.  This church now serves as their sending church in their ministry as home missionaries at Appalachian.
