In 1986, the Lord led the Clarks to move to Manila, Philippines which was the headquarters for the Southeast Asia Extension Program (SAEP); a program offering graduate level theological education to church leaders in Southeast Asia. Dave served as Associate Professor of Theology and Academic Dean for SAEP and traveled all over Southeast Asia providing modules in theology to train national pastors, Bible college professors, missionaries and fulltime Christian workers.
In 1992, the SAEP headquarters was moved to Singapore and thus the Clarks relocated to Singapore in May 1994, serving in the same capacity. In May 1999, the Lord redirected them to Bangalore, India, where Dave served as the Academic Dean & Theology Professor for Baptist Seminary of South India.
In March 2006, the Clarks returned to the States to begin serving on “Special Assignment” with Baptist Mid-Missions. At that time Dave was appointed as a Theological Education Consultant, with the plan that they would locate near a Campus Bible Fellowship ministry and could be involved with campus evangelism especially seeking to reach international students. The Clarks then resided in Blacksburg, Virginia and were involved with Campus Bible Fellowship at Virginia Tech and Radford University. Today, they live with their daughter and her family in Maryland. For more information about the Clarks or the ministries of Baptist Mid-Missions, please go to www.bmm.org.
